Antique, elegant, and authentic clutch bag featuring black jacquard-woven fabric, likely silk, and a beautifully ornamented metal frame with a classic kiss-lock clasp.
The bag has a refined woven pattern with oriental-inspired motifs and a period-appropriate golden textile lining. The ornamented metal frame has a beautiful patina, emphasizing the bag's age and character. The original rings for a chain are preserved, but the chain is missing.
These types of small clutch bags were popular as elegant accessories for formal and social attire in the first half of the 20th century. In Swedish, they are often called a "dräktväska" (costume bag).
