Antique picture and miniature photo frame of His Royal Highness Christian X & Princess Alexandrine from 1898 - collector's item

Antique miniature photo frame with a wedding portrait of Prince Christian, later King Christian X, and Princess Alexandrine. A fantastic collector's item.

The portrait dates from their wedding on April 26, 1898, in Cannes. The frame is also estimated to be from around the time of the wedding.

The frame is made of magnetic metal with a gold-colored/gilded surface and shaped like a laurel wreath with a bow. On the back is a small collapsible easel stand.

The photograph is protected by a thin transparent plate of plastic-like material – not glass.
