Chinese cork diorama with landscape, pagoda and panda in lacquered glass display case – San You, circa 1960s

Miniature Chinese cork diorama - miniature carving with a detailed hand-carved landscape scene, pagoda, and pandas, crafted in light cork and wood. The scene is encapsulated in a curved glass front and mounted on a black lacquered plinth with a red lacquered edge.

The back shows the original manufacturer's label "San You" and "Made in China," typical of Chinese souvenir and export art from the second half of the 20th century.

An evocative and characteristic example of Chinese decorative art, suitable as a display object or collector's item.
